Researchers at Deakin University’s Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN) are interested in learning how the collection of better travel data can help them in promoting active travel for healthier lifestyles. In this TravelVu study, participants will track their travel behaviour and submit their trips over a two-month period. During that time, researchers will have the opportunity to send push-notifications or reminders to participants to take active transport, such as walking a biking. The results, in connection to a survey, will give information on how and where Australians walk and bike. These results will help inform researchers on how to develop relevant strategies to encourage increased engagement in active travel.
